3rd "Fora" for the Crusade...

Here are some pictures of the 3rd Fora/Sledge for my Baltic Crusade project.

The Fora/Sledge are based on the Perry RN 34 Single horse peasant/ Cossack wagon from the Russian napoleonic range.

As I already used the driver on one of the other sledges I had to make me a new one using a Gripping Beast Plastic Saxon with a hooded head from West Wind

The hooded heads from West Wind have turned out realy well, I just have added some green stuff to make the collar.

  10. Hello... I came across your work (which is truly excellent) doing some book research. I wanted to find out what sort of sledge might be seen in 10c Bohemia. Your depictions have the perfect look. Did you research the build? Are these historically accurate? Again... great work

  11. Hello... I came upon your work (which is excellent) while researching for a book I am writing. I am interested in the build of a sledge that would have been used in 10th Century Bohemia. Did you research? Are these historically accurate? Again... great artistry!

    1. Hi!

Glad you liked the sledges. the sledges I built from scratc are more or less historical, at least in my part of Sweden, Darlecarlia. If they used similar sledges in Bohemia during the 10th centery I realy cant say as my Focus are Swedens and in this case a bit of balticum.

      Best regards Michael
